La Fondation RTOERO est un organisme de bienfaisance enregistr\u00e9 au Canada. Num\u00e9ro d&rsquo;\u0153uvre de bienfaisance 848662110RR0001.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> Nous sommes ind\u00e9pendants et autonomes La Fondation fonctionne sans lien de d\u00e9pendance avec RTOERO. Alors qu\u2019un certain soutien mat\u00e9riel est fourni, comme l&rsquo;espace \u00e0 bureau, tous les salaires et les co\u00fbts li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;exploitation de la Fondation sont support\u00e9s \u00e0 partir des dons volontaires des membres, des amis et des partenaires. Chaque ann\u00e9e, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure d&rsquo;accro\u00eetre notre revenu net gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des collectes de fonds et aux donateurs, en s&rsquo;assurant que la Fondation peut continuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire ses frais administratifs et \u00e0 accro\u00eetre son portefeuille de subventions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4)<\/strong> <strong>100 %<\/strong> de votre don peut servir aux subventions Les donateurs individuels de la Fondation ont l&rsquo;option de consacrer<strong> 100 %<\/strong> de leur don \u00e0 l&rsquo;un de nos deux programmes de subventions : 1) recherche et formation en g\u00e9riatrie\/ g\u00e9rontologie, ou 2) initiatives sur l&rsquo;isolement social.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5)<\/strong> Nous avons re\u00e7u un soutien de base en 2011 Lorsque la Fondation a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise sur pied en 2011, elle avait comme objectif initial de financer une Chaire de recherche en m\u00e9decine g\u00e9riatrique \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Toronto, \u00e0 hauteur de 3 millions de dollars. Au cours des trois premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, nos activit\u00e9s de financement ont permis d\u2019accumuler certains fonds. Cependant, RTOERO a offert, par le biais d&rsquo;une motion au S\u00e9nat, de financer le solde de 3 millions de dollars. Lorsque les fonds ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00eats \u00e0 \u00eatre transf\u00e9r\u00e9s de la Fondation \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Toronto, nous avons appris qu&rsquo;un montant de 500 000 dollars avait \u00e9t\u00e9 rendu disponible par l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9, ce qui signifiait que seulement 2,5 millions de dollars \u00e9taient alors n\u00e9cessaires pour financer la Chaire. Entre le financement et les 500 000 $ restants, un investissement de 750 000 $ a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait afin de fournir un soutien essentiel au programme de subventions annuelles de la Fondation.
